Start with clean, dry eyelashes. Open the mascara tube and carefully remove the wand, wiping off any excess product on the rim of the tube to prevent clumps. Hold the wand horizontally and place it at the base of your upper lashes. Wiggle the wand back and forth slightly as you sweep it upward toward the tips of your lashes, coating them evenly with mascara. For added volume and length, you can apply additional coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next.
